Hamburger Holdings LLC is the intellectual-property owner and managing entity for a portfolio of digital-credential and transit-workflow inventions originally conceived, documented, and reduced to formal invention disclosures and attorney-prepared patent-specification materials between 2014 and 2016 by inventor Brett Charles McAuliffe within what became known as the International Transit App (ITA) invention suite.

All associated intellectual property, including invention disclosures, attorney-prepared specification materials, drafts, software assets, UI/UX embodiments and supporting documentation, has been formally assigned to Hamburger Holdings LLC pursuant to executed IP-assignment instruments.

Invention Suite Overview
The assigned portfolio encompasses foundational concepts, methods, system architectures, and design frameworks relating to:

Digital identity and credential digitisation
Passports, national identity cards, residence permits, digital driver’s licences, trusted-traveller credentials, and government-issued documents.

Travel-obligation documentation
Boarding passes, seat/ticket data, baggage identifiers, and arrival/departure cards structured for automated border and transit processing.

Wireless exchange of secure identity and travel tokens
Device-originating tokens transmitted via NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, QR and related channels to authorised readers and back-end systems.

Contextual and location-bound activation
Geofencing, proximity triggers, and checkpoint-based authorisation for controlled presentation and verification of digital credentials.

Mobile identity assurance and verification
Biometric and device-bound authentication linking digital credentials to a specific person and device for high-assurance travel and access workflows.

Tokenised boarding, access control, immigration and travel-pass workflows
End-to-end sequences in which digitised identity, travel documents and risk declarations are combined into tokenised flows for airports, borders and secure facilities.

Supporting software, user interfaces and system architecture
Application logic, data structures, UX flows and systems integration necessary to implement the above capabilities on mobile devices and networked platforms.

Prior Art, Protection & Legal Position
Our technical specifications, design documents, user-interface materials and software are protected by trade secret and copyright, and are supported by foundational prior-art documentation and patent-grade specifications dating from 2014–2016. These materials pre-date modern wallet-based digital ID deployments and may be asserted as prior art and as intellectual-property assets under U.S. and international law.
